About
Terre Passero, Founder of Mindful Stress Management
We have more agency than we realize. What we think, do, and say impact our brain and body and, thus, our life.
I founded Mindful Stress Management to help people in organizations change their relationship to stress, enabling them to navigate life with more clarity, resilience, and ease.
This means helping people grow beyond their technical skills to acquire personal and interpersonal skills so they can thrive and make a difference.
I have practiced stress management skills, including mindfulness, breath work, yoga, and psychotherapy, throughout most of my life.
I have practiced meditation since I was a shy, anxious teenager. My older brother took me to a Transcendental Meditation course. It catapulted me into a lifelong journey of mindfulness practice and training. I also lived in Japan for five years, where I practiced Zen meditation.
I have decades of experience leading teams in the corporate world. I’ve been able to apply stress management practices and strategies in very challenging work environments. I understand the demands in organizations, and I get that time is limited, so people need micro-strategies to easily incorporate into their day.
I have provided stress management programs for hundreds of organizations, including NASA, McKinsey Consulting, San Francisco Bar Association, San Francisco 49ers, Livermore Lab, and Pandora, as well as universities and municipal organizations across the U.S. I keep it relevant and applicable as I know people’s time is precious!
In addition to earning a master’s degree in adult education, I am a certified instructor of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) from the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Center of Mindfulness. I am a certified stress mastery educator from the American Institute of Stress with Dr. Heidi Hanna.
I welcome the opportunity to support your journey to more mindful living, transforming stress into success!
